We are mailing invitations 8 weeks in advance of the wedding. You will receive a ticket for park entrance. Come back and RSVP through this website in April.

Kids are most welcome at our dam wedding! There is a playground and a lil beach nearby, and we’re bringing yard games for the whole family. The mac and cheese is kid-tested and approved by my son Declan.

Angie is excited for her white sundress! Tim has a nice linen jacket and pants. This is a BBQ picnic in the park, please avoid stiletto heels that might sink into the grass. It may be cool at night so a wrap or spring coat would be wise. We’ll light a big bonfire to help keep off the chill.

The pavilion is huge! There’s plenty of room, no worries.

Our caterer is roasting pulled pork and chicken right on site. Sides include rolls, coleslaw, mac and cheese, cornbread and Tim’s BBQ sauce—a family secret recipe! We will have Tim’s home brewed mead, beer, NA herbal spritzers, Mexican Coca Cola and sweet treats.

Arrive at 4:45. The ceremony begins promptly at 5pm, please plan to arrive 15 minutes early to park and settle in for the procession. As you arrive, there will signage pointing you to the pavilion, which has a large parking lot.

The park closes at 10pm. We recommend arranging any ride share like Uber or Lyft ahead of time since Coon Rapids is a bit rural.

We love to host! If you do too, we’ll be decorating at 10am and hauling away chairs by 10pm if you’re available to pitch in. Many hands make light work!
